The distribution box should be installed in a safe, dry and easy-to-operate place. For exposed electrical cabinets, 10# channel steel should be used to weld the foundation bracket, and the distribution cabinet should be installed on the bracket to prevent condensation water from the wall from entering the box. The height of the bracket is based on the bending radius of the cable, and a certain space is reserved at the bottom of the cabinet to facilitate the later cable insertion.
According to the "Construction Quality Acceptance Specifications for Building Electrical Engineering": The metal frame and foundation steel of the distribution cabinet should be reliably connected to the grounding busbar. For openable doors equipped with electrical appliances, the grounding terminals between the door and the metal frame should be connected with yellow-green insulated copper core soft wires with a cross-sectional area of not less than 4mm2, and should be marked.
The cross-section of the protective grounding wire is selected according to the provisions of the above table, and it should be effectively connected with its special grounding screw and grounding busbar.
The identification devices in the distribution cabinet indicate the number and name of the controlled equipment, or the operation position, and the wiring terminals are numbered, and are clear, neat, and not easy to fade.

When the design has fire protection requirements, the cable tray and the distribution box need to be fire-proofed when they are connected and laid, and the pipelines entering the cabinet also need fire-proof blocking.
The wiring in the cabinet is neat, clear, and beautiful, the wires are well insulated and undamaged, and the wires in the cabinet should not have joints. Each side of each terminal board generally has one wire, not more than two, and are connected to the terminal board with plugs or solder.
A plastic-sealed distribution system diagram (wiring diagram) should be pasted inside the distribution cabinet door. If conditions permit, the manufacturer can send an electronic version of the system diagram for archiving to prevent unnecessary trouble caused by the loss of the system diagram.
